Kaitlyn joined Ken Hoyt Law in 2026. Kaitlyn primarily advises on real estate and business law matters and she provides occasional support for the firm’s wills and estates law practice. Kaitlyn’s thoughtful approach, which balances a personable demeanor with her hallmark legal precision, provides clients with the confidence and comfort they need to stay focused on the big picture.
Kaitlyn completed a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in business economics and law from the University of Alberta, followed by a Juris Doctor at the University of Victoria and a Master of Laws at Osgoode Hall Law School (York University). Kaitlyn was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2017 and was called to the bar in Ontario in 2026. She brings valuable experience from legal roles in both private practice and the government setting, with a focus on real estate law, business law, and wills and estates.
Kaitlyn’s family relocated from the West Coast to Ottawa in late 2025 , and she is enjoying putting down roots as Ottawa becomes home. Outside of work, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with family including her energetic toddler and a mini Australian Shepherd “Lando”. Her longstanding personal interests include dance, yoga, running and a proudly mediocre golf game.
