Kaitlyn Lark – Lawyer

Kaitlyn joined Ken Hoyt Law in 2026. She advises on real estate, wills and estates, and business law matters. Kaitlyn’s thoughtful approach, which balances a personable demeanor with her hallmark legal precision, provides clients with the confidence and comfort they need to stay focused on the big picture.

Kaitlyn completed a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in business economics and law from the University of Alberta, followed by a Juris Doctor at the University of Victoria and a Master of Laws at Osgoode Hall Law School (York University). Kaitlyn was called to the bar in British Columbia (2017) and then in Ontario (2026). She brings experience from legal roles in both private practice and the government setting.

Kaitlyn’s family relocated from the West Coast to Ottawa in late 2025, and she is enjoying putting down roots here in Ottawa. Outside of work, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with family including her energetic toddler and a mini Australian shepherd, “Lando”. Her longstanding personal interests include dance, yoga, running, and a proudly mediocre golf game.
